****HORSE DRAWN PLOWING DAY **** 

  SATURDAY,APRIL 19 2008 FROM 10:00am-3:30pm

Come and watch these experianced horse men guide their teams of horses in plowing a field the "Old-fashioned" way.  Bring your family and your camera and see how plowing was done in the good old days!  Grandparents, take your grandchildren out for some fun!  Food will be available provided by the Ottawa county 4-H club.

The event will be held on Hall Street SW, just west of Wilson Ave.(M-11).  This is about 1/2 mile north on Kenowa Ave from Moelker Orchards. 

Directions to the event.

FROM THE WEST:

Jenison, Hudsonville, Holland: Take I-196 to exit 70B (Walker/M11). Go north 2.2 miles to Hall St. Left (west) on Hall 1/4 mile. 

Grand Haven,  Muskegon, Coopersville: Take I-96 to exit 24(Walker). Go 2.1 miles to M-11 (Wilson). Turn right and go south 4.5 miles to Hall St.  Right (west) 1/4 mile.

FROM THE EAST:

Grand Rapids: Take I-196 west to exit 70 (Grandville/Walker M-11).  Go right at the light appx. 2.2 miles to Hall St. Left (west) 1/4 mile.

Wyoming, Kentwood: Take 28th St. (M-11) west through Grandville. After crossing the Grand River, continue 2.1 miles to Hall St.. Left (west) on Hall 1/4 mile.
